After 1h45min fright from OR Tambo International airport to George, our Brave@Heart - 7 Adventures in 7 Days project kicked off with a short drive to Wilderness. We had a quick lunch at Zucchini restaurant before our first adventure on the list…Quad Biking!!
What an awesome experience! Being a paraplegic it took a while for my body to get use to balancing, but after a few minutes I got used to the motions and started to pick up the pace!! The Quad Bike course in beautiful and well planned in a thick forest with lovely trees. Friendly and helpful staff at “Wild X Adventures" attended to our needs and made this adventure very memorable!! Visit Wild X Adventures
From Wilderness we headed to Sedgefield where we would be based at the lovely, feels like home, guest house “Forrestview” for the next 4 nights. We were warm heartedly welcomed Jenny Bennett the owner, who went all out to make our stay as comfortable as possible with a room that was perfectly fine for my wheelchair!
